About Jonty Warneken
Having my sporting career cut short by a serious car crash at the age of 22, where I lost my left leg below the knee, had my right ankle rebuilt (three times so far) a front skull and nose rebuild .I was honoured to be invited to join the IISA board and am currently Vice President. I also sit on the Ice Swimming Hall of Fame board and Chair the IISA Para committee. I am a four times Guinness World Record holder for ice and endurance swimming, with the highlights being an extreme Ice Mile, North Channel relay and solo, English Channel relay, and solo circumnavigation of the island of Jersey.
