This summer 2022 to keep up my training and exposure I have been doing a long distance skin swim of 7-10Km plus, each weekend in the sea alongside my weekly river swimming, ice bath immersion and swim drills in the pool.
In reflection from the 4 previous seasons of ice swims I have deliberately gained some weight through increasing my body fat content, now weighing in at 15 stone. I have however kept up my fitness with my last 9.5k swim on 28/8/22 taking 3.5hr inclusive of 4 feeds.
