I\'ve competed in open water events across the country and I\'ve travelled worldwide to participate in Long and Middle-Distance triathlon events, even managing to sneak into the GB Age Group team. I\'ve completed long swims in some of Britain most beautiful locations, including Ullswater, Windemere, Coniston, Bala and Loch Lomond, and I\'ve crossed the English channel as part of a relay team. I have also also spent a lot of time swimming along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset and have guided swimmers on the iconic swim from Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door.
Although I\'ve never really competed in the ice until 2023, I have enjoyed year round swimming for many years. This year I competed in the GB Championships, and also the Scottish Winter swimming championships and had so much fun.
I\'m an experienced swim teacher and ASA swim coach, as well as a dedicated open water coach, and I work for a swim expedition company, coaching and guiding swimmers in the rather warmer waters of the Ionian sea during the summer. I\'m excited to be part of the new IISA committees, and can\'t wait to get started.
