The Ireland Ice Swimming Team

10982469_1037259456291339_5051872578570561919_nWe also wish to extend a very special well done to The Ireland Ice Swimming Team event and participants last weekend. The team headed by Padraig Mallon (2013 WOWSA Man of the Year) assisted by Nuala Moore and Jacqueline well done. The logo and the medals design was exceptionally beautiful.  Running an Icy event is not a simple task. It is an outdoors event in icy conditions, in the water with no assistance or swimming aids. As pure as any extreme sport can get. It requires huge logistics and safety measures. They have been at it for quite sometime and they pulled an amazing event which sets standards and hopefully will continue to run annually (until we freeze the rest of Ireland).
