About Lesley Duncan
My ice swimming journey has begun! I have swum through the last three winters, mostly in the sea, in and around Plymouth. This year, I\'ve challenged myself to swim at lower temperatures and have been swimming in rivers and pools in Devon. Two weeks ago in early January 2018, I experienced my first swim in a water temperature of below 5 degrees C. In fact, the temperature ranged between 3.8 - 2.6 degrees in the deepest part of the fresh water pool. I comfortably managed around 200 metres. I\'m hoping this is just the start of my icy water adventure!
