About Penelope Armstrong
Late in life, I am an evolving athlete who loves swimming cold. It must be the Scotch-Irish blood! Looking forward to pushing more ice as I continue to be @Aged_In_Ice.
Belfast, Maine, USA is a winter rowing fishing town and the goal here is NOT to end up IN the ocean, so only three of us regularly swim three days a week. In Jan. of 2022, the average ocean temperature here in Belfast was 1.3C.
I loved the Memphremagog Winter Swimming Festival in 2022 as it was the first time I was around a host of people who actually swim! Looking forward to more icy adventures.
