About Diego Lopez
Diego Lopez is an Open Water and Ice Swimmer from the Canary Is. in Spain, who came up with the concept of Continents Seven. As a globally-minded entrepreneur, he wanted to create a series of seven different solo, unassisted swims that should be completed on all of the seven continents of Planet Earth within one year. He completed the feat throughout 2018, by swimming Rottnest Channel, Robben Island, Lake Titicaca, English Channel, Catalina Ch., Clean Half HK and finally, an ICE KM in Antarctica. He is currently the US Champion in 100 and 200 Free, the World Champion (35-39M) in the Ice KM, and holds the Spanish and US record of the Ice KM.
