About Sian Clement
I have been skins swimming through the winter for 3 years now. I swim in Keepers Pond with Cath Pendleton and in the sea both in South Wales and Orkney.
I have swum in Keepers when most of the surface was frozen, in the sea I have swum a mile at 3.6 degrees. I have done several unofficial ice miles in the sea, Clevedon Marine Lake and Cheltenham lido but sadly whenever I enter an actual event the water temp is too high to officially record it. As part of a qualifier for a different event I have swum for an hour in 6 degree sea water with -4 air temp with Cath Pendleton.
I am also a marathon swimmer and have swum the Bristol, English and North Channel.
Previously I have been a pool swimmer especially backstroke (and I still hold a Welsh masters record), a triathlete and competitive lifesaver.
I must admit I do not do much on social media so do not have lots of links to add to this bio- doesn’t mean o don’t do lots, just means I don’t post about it.
