About Louise Hyder-Darlington
Founder and head coach of Penn Heron OWS club in Central Pennsylvania, USA (via US Masters). I began cold water swimming training for the English Channel and loved it. I have participated for the last 5 years in the Memphremagog Winter Swimming Festival in Vermont USA; participating in all events. I have also completed the Champion of Champion swim in Kinsale in 2019. Completed the triple crown as a relay swimmer and the North Channel in July 2019 as member of Irish Team , Global Tridents. Member of the first relay circumnavigation of Santa Cruz Island (Channel Islands, California USA), team Selkie and the Sirens. I have also completed stages 3 and 6 of the 8 bridges swim and also swims in Japan. I swim year round and as a coach for Penn Heron, love welcoming new swimmers to OWS and also cold water and ice swimming.
